Kiki had heard about her date with Brenden. She was not sure how as Irene wasn’t going around talking about it, but Kiki had been giving her the stink eye all week. Once, when a doctor, an unattractive one, was searching for a chart, it ended up being in her general area.
Kiki picked it up with a huff. “Oh, ‘Irene’ has it. Maybe if you flirt with her a little, she’ll give it to you.”
Thankfully, the doctor was busy like the rest of them and tuned Kiki out and didn’t appear to hear her.
