Bethany's POV:
A week and a half later
"Mom I'm gonna miss you", I hug my mother, it's December 22nd and I'm going back to New York for the next week to spend Christmas with my father.
It's snowing right now, but in New York, the snow is higher.
I met mom's mate, he's so cool, but he flew to California a few days ago, he couldn't stay in the cold any longer and mom is flying over to meet him tomorrow.
"I'll miss you too."
She gave me my Christmas present early, a new phone, sadly I will not be able to use it on campus.
I got my report card last week, I passed all my exams with good grades, all A except history, that isn't my strong hold, I got an A minus on that, My GPA is 4.0 so that's good.
"I'll call you every day", I state.
