  After finally calming Summer Knight down, Alexander Barron didn’t give her a chance to react before he swept her into his arm sand made to leave the hillside.   If she kept crying like that,she’d flood the whole mountain.   Just as Little White began wobbling toward them as if to follow, Alexander gave a sharp whistle, signaling the dog to stay.   The massive Tibetan Mastiff dropped to the ground with a whimper, hanging his giant head as his snowy fur drooped—utterly dejected.   Summer’s heart clenched. She tugged at Alexander’s sleeve and tilted her face up, eyes wide and pleading.   “Big Brother, Little White looks so sad all by himself. Can we bring him home?
