I am walking alone on a lone path heading home, its not some kind of a bushy path but just a normal one with fewer people, i am busy scrolling on my phone as i head towards the gate, we have just part ways with Ruby. I walk through the gate and go in, we did not go with my car because it was a walking distance to the place we have gone with Ruby.
I press the door bell and aunty Maria opens it for me. Eileen has gone out earlier today and I doubt if she's back , my parents are still at work
"Good evening aunty?" I ask her as i remove my shoes and carry them in my hands
