The following day was on Saturday, the day my dad was supposed to be buried. Mom said they rushed the burial because they were fulfilling my dad's wishes. He wished to be buried after one day, he didn't want us to mourn for long. Bribe stayed over as well as Ruby and Bailey. We spent most of the night in the living room going through our family photo album as we reminisced and went through the memories we had before dad died. Most of the pictures were of dad and mom on their holiday and more others when we were still young.
When I felt sleepy, Ruby accompanied me to my room and we shared my bed, Eileen shared her room with Aimee and Alyssa while Basil and Bruce used the other room that Bailey used when she used to stay with us.
