Chapter Forty-Four
“Sandra.” I rasped her name, watching the way her pupils dilated when I said her name. The way her heart beat faster as the sweet scent of her arousal grew thicker in the air around us. I couldn’t wait to have her in our bed, to be covered in the scent of her and to have my mates smelling like her. “Come on, I should take you home.”
She nodded, moving over to me and slipping her hand into mine. I let her tug me out of the stairwell and out into the hallway. The hall was dark except for the wall sconces mounted every few yards. Those lights did little to fully illuminate the hall and the dark gray carpet and off white paint did little to make it any more welcoming.
