I woke up the next morning to a kiss on my forehead and looked up at a smiling Damian. I was still lying on his chest with his arms wrapped snug around me to hold me close to him and it felt really nice. That was the best night's sleep I had had since I learned about our baby's loss. I really did miss having Damian around.
