Damian answered the call from the council members and positioned his laptop on the desk so that we could all see the screen, where each of the council member’s faces popped up as they joined. They started greeting us and Damian began to explain the whole situation to them while I stayed in my seat, completely silent.
It was hard for me to focus on the situation at hand when I knew that my mate and Jay Jay were leaving us to stay at a hotel for a while, which Damian had informed me of shortly after Luna Marlie left to go speak to her.
