“It’s been a week and that stupid Alpha isn’t getting any closer to finding her,” Lance spat at me, a risky move for a rogue that I could kill at any minute if I wanted to. “I don’t see why you don’t just let me go kill him right now,” he grumbled, plopping down in the seat across from me.
“Because, the situation has to be perfect for it to happen, otherwise I risk getting caught.” I rolled my eyes, this mutt doesn’t listen to anything I say.
“You already have me doing all the dirty work in exchange for your shelter and protection. Why can’t you just let me do this on my own terms?” he snarled, another stupid move on his part.
