I noticed Damian’s wolf struggling to fight a rogue and pointed it out to my wolf, Memphis, who was currently in control of my body, and he rushed over to help him. I knew being away from your mate for a long period of time was supposed to make you weak, but since I had never experienced it, I didn’t realize how bad it could affect someone until I saw Damian’s lack of strength while fighting.
