Alaric’s POV
“Breaking news tonight, the new Beta for Pack BloodyMoon has just been announced,” I hear the TV new announcer say clearly.
I turn up the volume of the TV in my office and lean back in my chair. My butler John brings me a cup of coffee.
He looks at the TV and smiles at me. "This must be Miss Cara. There's no better Beta than her."
I don't answer him, just nodding simply. I agree with that more than anyone.
As long as Eamon isn't a fool, everyone knows who is the most suited for the position and who can contribute the most to the pack...
I pick up my coffee cup, waiting for the inevitable answer to be revealed.
