The following day, I woke up to Nate fixing his tie in front of the mirror. I blinked the sleep out of my eyes and stretched. I slowly sat up and looked at him.
"Good morning..." I yawned.
"Good morning sleepyhead. Go get ready, we have a meeting this morning." he said.
"Meeting?" I stuttered. "With who?"
"Your first Alpha meeting." he smiled.
I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I stared at him with wide eyes.
"I... I'm not prepared for that." I admitted.
"It's okay, you don't have to contribute anything to the meeting. You're more than welcome to just sit in. It would be good for you to know what happens at these meetings, since this concerns other packs as well. This is a good opportunity for you to build connections with the others, if you'd like." he smiled.
