Kiana's pov
"Help mom. Help!" I shouted as the pack of wolves were coming close to me and my dad on the ground.
We were moving backward with the help of our hands and butt. The excruciating pain that we've already gotten from the injuries due to the fire outbreak made us weak.
"Kiana! Kiana!" I heard my mom's voice as she called out.
"Mom!!" I cried.
"Where are you?" I heard her voice slowly fading away.
I became terrified as I turned to face my dad.
"Look, Kiana, I want you to run away with your mom while I face this," My dad shouted with smokey eyes.
"No! No dad! I can't let you do this alone." I retorted.
"Kiana, you have to listen to me. Run now that the smoke is blocking this person from seeing us. Run! Run!"
