Rachel closed the door after giving Ethan's nurse a small wave as she buckled him in his car seat.
Walking upstairs she plopped down on Landon's chest as he was laying on the bed reading. He moved his book to the side and rested a hand on her bare thigh.
"Daddy?"
"Princess."
She only stared at him and moved in his line of vision. Still, his eyes didn't stray from the book.
"Daddy?"
"Baby girl."
She frowned when he didn't look up and wiggled on his chest.
"Daddy?"
"Little one."
She poked his cheek and waited to see if he'd do something. He didn't.
"Daddy?"
"Munchkin."
She moved closer to him and smushed his cheeks together. "Pay attention to meeeee."
