I can't find Zariah anywhere.
It's like she fell off of the face of the earth.
After I met with her father, I decided I should go have a talk with her. I fully intended to go speak to Zariah, face-to-face, to let her know that I was sorry about leaving this morning without a word and to tell her that her father wants to retire, so there's a good chance that she will be the Beta soon.
I'm tired of fighting it, and the conversation I had with the man who probably knows her better than anyone, other than her mother, did help clear up a lot of things, even though it wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear.
