“Here comes the vultures,” the police captain says before all the chaos breaks loose.
In a split second, we are surrounded by journalists, each one shoving their mics on my face.
“Mr Anderson, is it true that you assaulted Advocate Brent?”
“Is it true that you arrested Mr Spencer as revenge for him sleeping and impregnating your ex-fiancée’?”
That question catches me by surprise. I know that George dumped Leticia like a used toilet paper before his arrest. I also know that George’s mother chased her out of the her son”s apartment that very same day. The pregnancy is the first I am hearing of.
“Do you not think it was a conflict of interest to have been the one handling the president’s case when you clearly have history with Mr Spencer?”
