The missing footage of the president’s attempted assassination is already breaking news. No one is even talking about the deputy president stepping down. The whole country is shocked when the police department cannot explain how the vital piece of evidence just vanished from their secured storage. The media is already speculating that the culprits are most likely the expelled corrupt police officers.
I roll my eyes when the presidential spokesperson relays the highest office’s shock at the news. I really do feel for Captain Swart who has to answer for another case of his department failure when I know the real culprits.
