Jake Abbot I rushed into the Emergency room behind the paramedics just to be stopped by security as she was wheeled into the OR. I called my father from my truck and followed the ambulance to the hospital. She was still unresponsive. I paced the waiting room until a nurse came and escorted me to an empty waiting room. Then I paced that room. I would sit and then stand up and pace again. I pulled out my phone to count back the weeks from that night we spent together.
