Skating to the bench, Winter glanced up to the VIP box where her friends and family were watching from. She smiled when she noticed Jared caressing Mal's tummy. She had confided in her the other day that she was pregnant and terrified to tell Jared. Mal had always been careful, but when one thing led to another, she couldn't stop, and now she was pregnant.
Winter was ecstatic for her friends and would be there for Mal every step of the way. She had done this twice before and was planning on having a few more when the time came. Their daughter was a beautiful surprise, one that cost her over a year of training, but when she came out with her red hair, her eyes changed to her daddy's brown ones. It didn't matter. Winter was ready to say goodbye to playing hockey forever. But
