Warren sat beside me as I changed for practice.
"How is she?" he sighed, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees.
"Sore, but she's okay," I told him.
"Her shoulder?"
"Will heal. I know she is anxious about physical therapy, but the muscles need time to heal."
"f**k. I've never wanted to punch someone so badly," he exhaled.
"I feel the same way. If I ever see him again, I just might." I sat down beside him after securing my chest protector.
"Did she say anything?"
"Not really. She was more worried about how I would react," I shrugged.
His attention snapped to me, "Really?"
"I'm not going anywhere, War, and this morning, she asked me to move in," I grinned. "Then your brother came over and ate everything." I chuckled when he shot his brother a glare.
