CONTRARY to the words uttered by her mate, Tati went to bed alone. She did not notice what time Keena went home. However, she woke with no one beside her.
“Babe, I asked Mama Lulu to send you breakfast later. I need to speak with Calhun immediately.”
She blinked her eyes twice when she heard that. She thought she was already alone in the cabin.
Her mate is tying her shoes in the corner of the bedroom. That’s why Tati was not able to see her when she opened her eyes.
“Is this about the intruders last night?”
