For a moment, I didn’t think it was going to work, but after a minute or so, I watched the metal slowly start to melt from my blood. I still had a part of my demon inside of me. Hekate must not have realized or maybe I was just so powerful that no one could take my demon power away.
Lillian crumbled to the ground, but I caught her as best I could. I may have demon power still in my blood, but my human form was still weak. I carefully wrapped her arm around my neck and we began to walk for the exit.
