Meeting Him For The First Time

1319 Words
Lillian Death was meant to be peaceful and to let the person or creature finally be able to rest in infinite slumber. Unfortunately, for me, that would never be the case. When I sacrificed the demon part of myself and watched helplessly as my mate, my one true love screaming and hitting the barrier holding me captive was excruciating pain. I never wanted Lucifer to feel pain like that again. He had been through enough with the situation between Angelica and his brother. Now, because of my brother, I had to put Lucifer in that pain once again. I wasn't completely dead. No. The Demon part of me was, and she would never return, which hurt like a bîtch, because she was a huge part of me. Lucifer had marked me, and once he had claimed me, she had surfaced rapidly. Now that she was gone, I felt empty. I was now only witch and the one thing I never wanted to be. A Phoenix. Yes, you heard right. I had denied my heritage and never wanted to be one. I ran away from everything and everyone. The only person I kept in contact with was my sister, Hecate. She helped me out so much through the centuries and more recently. I didn't want to face my brother, but it was inevitable. I needed to get Cassandra away from him and bring her back to Sebastian. Once I was done with that, then it would be up to Sebastian and Zender to keep her there and protect her. I don't know if I will ever be able to go back to Lucifer, but I will do whatever I can to try and get back even if it takes the rest of eternity, because Lucifer and our little family is it for me. They are the world to me, and I will always choose my family above all else. * * * * * Once I felt myself break the barrier into Bennu's realm, I felt myself trembling with exhaustion. I wasn't very strong at the moment, but once I grabbed Cassandra, I would be able to teleport her through the circle of blood I created. It was a doorway for her. I rushed to the garden in my Phoenix form, and when I got there, the scene before me was heartbreaking. Cassandra was screaming in pain and pleading for my brother to stop the assault on her already weak body, but he was relentless. "No. I will break this bond if it's the last thing I do. You're supposed to be MINE." He growled angrily but ended up shouting at the end. I could feel the tension in the bond, and I could feel Cassandra's willpower slowly breaking down. She was close to giving up. Her body was in control, and she was just a helpless passenger to her destruction. I slowly crept closer, trying to avoid my brother sensing me and waited until he closed his eyes. Once he did, I wrapped my arms around Cassandra, who looked up at me with alarm. "Hello, brother." I said, smirking triumphantly. His eyes snapped open, and the look of confusion and shock was utterly satisfying. Before he could react, I chanted a few words, and Cassandra was teleported to the circle of blood. I tried to go with her, but in the panic of Cassandra leaving, he grabbed me around the neck and held me firmly in place as I tried to escape his grip, but it was futile. "Oh sister, sister, sister. You will pay dearly for what you've done." He hissed venomously and began squeezing until black spots began to fill my vision, and then everything went black. * * * * * Cassandra Who was that other Phoenix? I thought Bennu said there were no others like him. Did he lie about other things? These thoughts ran rampant through my mind as I looked around frantically in the dark. I reached out my hands and gasped sharply when I felt nothing. Where was I? I searched for anything to grab onto, but it was like I was stuck in a black void. "Hello? Is anyone there?" I cried out. There was nothing but silence. My mind began to clear from the foggy muddled situation it had been under, and suddenly, I felt sick and disgusted with myself. How could I betray Sebastian like that? I almost forgot about him. I didn't deserve his love after what I had done. He deserved better than that. I felt so exhausted, and I didn't know where I was or what was going to happen. Just as I was about to close my eyes, I felt my body drop onto solid ground. I looked around and spotted creatures I had never seen before hunched over a young man who looked like he was in a lot of pain. All heads snapped up and looked in my direction. I felt out of place. I looked down and realized I was naked and gasped with embarrassment as I rushed to cover my brêasts and between my legs. "W-Where am I?" I asked hesitantly. The young man inhaled sharply and slowly got up with trembling legs and walked towards me. Every step he took, I backed up until I was trapped against a wall. "Stay b-back." I stuttered out fearfully. "Cassandra. Is it really you?" His voice croaked. His voice sounded so familiar. I couldn't place it at first. "Yes, I am Cassandra. How did you know that?" I asked cautiously. "You don't recognize my voice? It's me. Sebastian," He said softly, but I could see the look of pain on his face, "Your mate." My eyes widened with shock, and suddenly, all the dreams I had since I was a kid rushed to my head. With trembling fingers, I reached out and touched his face. "Sebastian? Is... is it... really you?" I choked out. "Yes, it's really me." He said gruffly and gently moved my hand away. "EVERYONE TURN AWAY." He growled angrily, and then he took his shirt off and quickly placed it over my head. Then, he grabbed my hand and held it against his cheek. "You're finally here." He whispered roughly and embraced me tightly. After everything that has happened throughout my entire life, right at this moment was when I finally broke apart. The dam exploded wide open, and I started crying uncontrollably. I felt like my chest had been ripped wide open. "Son, take Cassandra back to your room so you both can talk. She looks exhausted and should rest." A deep voice said, patting Sebastian's back. "Get back." Sebastian growled viciously. "Forgive me, son. I meant no harm. Go now. Care for your mate. You both need each other right now more than ever." He said softly. "Wait... how did you get here? Was Lillian there?" A voice coming from a man I didn't recognize said softly, sniffling. "Lillian? I'm not sure, one minute I was... well... being forced to... you... know... orgâsm." I squeaked out, and my face turned bright red from the embarrassment, "Then suddenly I was wrapped in the arms of a woman Phoenix and her saying, "Hello, brother." And then there was nothing." "She's still alive?" The man said with a hint of excitement, "Of course, she is. What was I even thinking? This is my Lillian. She would never leave me like that. I have to find her." He wiped his tears away and chuckled softly, then rushed out of the room with a woman running after him, "Lucifer, wait..." She yelled after him. I tensed and looked up at Sebastian with wide eyes, "Excuse me? Did she just say Lucifer?" Sebastian just laughed softly and nodded his head. "Yes, my sweet and beautiful, Cassi. She said Lucifer. Did I forget to mention that my grandfather just happens to be The Devil?"
