I stood outside the entrance to the Phoenix Realm and looked at it with disbelief. I couldn't fathom what I was seeing. All this time, and no one knew its exact location. I had heard rumors about what happened in the past, but I never believed them.
Something bad had to have happened. Bennu was a very powerful being, and I don't even know if he is able to be killed. He's a Phoenix for fûcks sake. They can resurrect from the dead from their very ashes.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, then let it out slowly. Hekate was late. She said she had to go get something and that she would be back as soon as possible.
