It only made sense that Vanessa helped Mina here. Not only did they have newly acquired synergy and experience, but Mina was also more comfortable with her than Hakim.
Mina pressed herself against the mountain to walk sideways on the ledge. Pretty easy at first stepping side to side. She only focused on her next step to go all the way up the mountain.
Vanessa was shortly behind her catching the amazing view of the forest. It felt like child's play to climb the ledge.
When Mina realized how high up she was, she began to freak out a little. Her halt warranted a warning from Vanessa that the ledge was collapsing.
Mina began screaming asking for how long that was happening. Ironically, the ledge had been breaking shortly after Vanessa. The pressure was on for Mina to hurry up before they both fell into the lake.
As usual, she began hyperventilating trying to get up the ledge as fast as possible. In contrast, Vanessa observed the ledge crumbling in amusement.

Once at the top, Hakim and Leira were presented with a digital screen showcasing what was happening at the top of the mountain.
Mina jumped to the very top and landed on her knees. Vanessa managed to jump just in time to avoid the crumbling ledge.
"She has a nice butt," said Leira.
Hakim uncomfortably nodded, causing Leira to add, "I can say that, but you can't because you're an older guy... So don't look".
Vanessa helped Mina up to her feet. The ground was plain rocky with dirt. Mina couldn't help dusting a piece of it with her hand. Dirt got in between her fingers giving a further sense of realism to their surroundings.
Air blew past like they were at the edge of a canyon. There was no way back without jumping far down into the lake. Yet, there appeared to be nothing at the top of the mountain for them to fight.
"Quick, cast your buffs on us," said Vanessa.
Mina refused. She wanted to be good at fighting and prove herself to be skilled with the axe. Her wish was respected. After all, her auras should be more than enough.
The two paced themselves slowly across the area. Both tightly gripping their weapons.
Without any signs, a piece of the round rose. Leira began yelling for them to look behind them even though they couldn't hear her.
A giant turtle jumped towards Vanessa and Mina. Mina screamed and swung her axe blindly. Vanessa parried the now spinning turtle with her sword. She held it back well and called, "Venus Flower".
Flames engulfed the turtle, causing it to back away into a solid stance. It was a huge turtle, like that of a rhino. Its shell was covered in sharp spikes and easily covered most of its body. The snout was sharp to tear into the meat.
It created an earthquake by stomping its feet. The girls shook off balance. When ready, the turtle spun again. Vanessa threw her sword at the turtles to create an impeding ice wall.
Once the spinning slowed down, she ran to its side and threw it by the spikes. In haste, Mina threw out a quick dance routine to buff herself and Vanessa.
The turtle tripped itself to land on its back. Its arms and legs dangled in mid-air as Mina ran towards it with her axe.
When Mina got near, the turtle his itself well in its shell. There was no way for her to stab the beast. Vanessa's sword was still frozen which left them little options.
The turtle slammed itself again to cause an earthquake. Followed by another spinning attack.
Vanessa coated herself in a frosty aura to combat the turtle in melee combat. For a bit, it actually worked. The turtle slowed down from its ferocious spin. But the damage to it was next to none.
At that moment, Vanessa was humbled to understand what Hakim said earlier. Though she killed a level 4 boss, this level 2 boss was putting up a good fight.
Mina stood steady waiting for an opening to strike when three lizards passed by. They were a little bigger than a cat. Which was just what she needed.
She ran towards the turtle and timely threw her axe at its head.
The turtle ducked itself into its shell. Its spin came to a short stop as Mina planned.
"Get ready Vanessa!" she yelled.
Vanessa watched as a few small lizards climbed into the turtle's shell.
Mina threw Vanessa her sword before grabbing her axe.
The turtle tried to poke its bloodied head out, but Vanessa sliced her blade towards it. The shell shook harder as seconds flew by. Both girls circled the turtle, attacking its b****y legs any time they tried to come out.
Evidence was in the blood the spilt from the shell. The lizards were eating the turtle alive.
In a final struggle for its life, the turtle jumped to its feet and ran for the cliff over the waters.
Lizards were latched onto its limbs, still feasting on their living meal. Mina threw her axe at its legs, crippling its speed. Vanessa pierced her sword through its neck.
It was a battle of strength for Vanessa to keep the turtle away. She was getting closer to falling off the cliff. Mina chopped off the turtle's head.
Blood spilt all over the ground. A rotten smell like a dead pig left out overnight kicked their nostrils. Dead bodies definitely didn't rot this quickly in real life. Or at least one would suppose.
A light rose from the turtle and came into Mina. It opened a development chart for her to control reptiles up to a certain low power level.
Neither cared, for they both had fun winning. The sides of the mountain shifted. Ledges sprung from the sides to allow easy access up and down. It was a relief. They could take their time walking down.

Now down at the bottom, Leira and Hakim congratulated the two. Leira took the moment to embarrass Mina about her butt. She blushed herself into her shirt. Vanessa instigated that Mina had a mighty axe and a heart of gold. But Leira focused on that butt though.
That left Leira's mission which wasn't far. Her mind was made up to take Hakim instead. It was only fair given that he worked so hard last month, yet was rarely seen.
