Cassius Cassius wanted to strangle Marcus for sending them on this wild goose chase. He wanted to pummel him for putting his mate in danger. He wanted to throttle her for so readily agreeing to go on a suicide mission. He knew it was necessary. He knew that they needed Marcus’s help and that they should do anything necessary to win the war, but at what cost? They wouldn't be winning a war if none of them made it to the final battle. Cassius knew that Clover felt that she had some big point to prove, that she was somehow unworthy or that she was of lesser value than he or anyone else but that was wrong, foolish even.
