I opened my eyes, slowly awakening from a deep sleep. As my vision adjusted, I saw the concerned face of Anna's dad hovering over me. To my left, Tyler sat anxiously, his eyes filled with worry. And at the foot of the bed, Alpha Aaron sat in a chair, his gaze fixed on me.
"Dad?" I croaked, my voice weak and barely audible. "What happened?"
My dad let out a sigh of relief and gently squeezed my hand. "You had us all worried, Anna. You've been asleep for nearly three days."
Three days? I couldn't believe it.
"The doctor said you needed rest," he continued. "You lost consciousness due to extreme fatigue."
