Damien extended a gentle hand towards me and helped me to my feet.
"I saw you running off, and I wanted to make sure you were okay," Damien said softly. "I know what happened between you and the Alpha. Do you want to talk about it?"
I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I wanted to relive the painful encounter I had just experienced. But Damien's sincerity made me feel like I could trust him.
"I caught Aaron with Lily," I finally admitted, my voice shaky. "I saw them together in her room."
