Thanks to Henry, Julie had gotten back on track in time for her interview.
She no longer drank like a sailor and was not afraid of her own shadow anymore.
“Your credentials are excellent,” her interviewer said dispassionately, “you have a good history with the C&L group, what might have brought about your dismissal?”
“I was the one who had to hand over my resignation,” Julie told him matter-of-factly.
He c****d an eyebrow at her, “And why is that?”
“For personal reasons,” she tried to dismiss the fact, trying her best not to sound troubled.
“Care to elaborate?” He probed.
“I would rather not say,” the words were almost ripped out of her harshly.
“Here’s the deal, I can get the information from you or from your former boss, Ms. Peterson. So which is it going to be?”
