Not only did I have a bad day at work, but I was not happy about getting yet another year older. I didn’t really want to celebrate it, but I know everyone else did. And I knew Stone felt like he needed to do something spectacular. He had been spending hours in the evenings shopping for the perfect gift, even though I told him he didn’t have to get me anything.
