Allie stormed into her office, a whirlwind of disbelief and fury. Dorian, Sarah, and Carter trailed in her wake, their expressions varying from calm to frustration.
“Baby, take a second to breathe,” Dorian advised, his tone placating.
Allie whirled on him. “Did that just happen?” She gestured wildly toward the door, reliving the spectacle of the press conference.
“It did. And we managed the fallout. Janene was excellent, frankly,” Dorian replied, his arms crossed.
Allie’s voice cracked loudly. “SIX MORE PEOPLE WERE JUST FIRED ON LIVE TELEVISION, DORIAN!”
