Chapter 10
Carter returned home with the ramen noodles he promised to Sarah. He had them delivered to the front gate of the pack territory and met the delivery driver. Carter tipped the driver generously since it was a long drive. He specifically asked for the noodles to be cooked al dente because Sarah had been going on about how noodles expand when cooked thoroughly. Carter thought she was being dramatic, but when Allie and Leah also confirmed Sarah’s claims, he relented.
He made it home just before Sarah went full pregnancy hangry on him. He was unpacking the soup, the noodles, and even the stinky side of kimchi.
