Annabel's POV I stared at my screen. It said that Justin was typing, and my heart raced a little as I wondered what he was going to say. We had had an unexpectedly sweet morning today, and it made me hesitant to leave. I wanted to spend more time with him. I let out a sigh. I was overthinking this. I was thinking about Justin too much. My phone made a sound, signaling that he had sent a message, and I immediately opened it. Justin: Rough practice. You free? I stared at the words. Are you free? Those two words said so much. Did he want to hang out with me? I felt bubbly. I didn’t hesitate, and my fingers moved before my brain caught up. "For you? Always." After I pressed the send button, the gravity of what I had said registered in my mind, and my cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
