Annabel's POV A few days had passed since the incident, and now I had to go to class for a lecture. I couldn't help but feel like I was getting extra attention today. I could feel them before I saw them, the stares. The shift in the air was almost physical the second I walked into class. Like all the whispered conversations, they paused just long enough to trail after me, then picked right back up once I passed.
