Rick's POV
After dropping Amanda and the kids, I ensured that they were alright. She had cried so much, I wanted her to rest, so I made her sleep before heading back to my parents house, hoping to return before she would be awakened. Even so, I dropped a note to let her know where I had gone, so she wouldn't be worried.
They made me look stupid in front of Amanda. I promised her things would be alright and that my parents would like her, but we were met with disappointment. More like they embarrassed me before a guest.
