"Careful now" The Housekeeper Gertrude said as I swung my bag over my shoulder with my good arm.
"I'm fine" I grinned at her.
"Besides, the doctor said I was going to take the cast off soon. Seems like your soup is working wonders on me" I added cheekily.
The Sixty something year old woman glared at me unconvincingly but her lips were twitching with a smile.
"You're only saying that because you're happy to leave me alone in this big mansion" she frowned.
I laughed and walked towards her before placing a peck on her cheek.
"I'm not happy to leave you alone. I still haven't gotten that Grilled turkey recipe from you" I pouted.
"It's a family secret recipe" she boasted.
"And you're going to share it with the Madame. There's no way she's laying her hands on it before it becomes a rest
