CHAPTER FIFTY SIX “You were flirting with some guy on Camera and you don’t even know his name?” he questioned, his tone full of disbelief. “Flirting?” I paused, lowering my voice further, “You think I was flirting with some guy? What do you take me for Dane? I respect our marriage and I would never do anything to taint it,” Unlike you, I wanted to add. Something close to a guilty look crossed over his eyes, making him look away for a brief second. My first thought was that perhaps he felt guilt enough to want to confess. “I’m sorry for that. I guess I’ve just been so stressed lately with you gone,” He ran his hand over his hair, a move that I once considered distractingly sexy but now it strangely did nothing to me. Stressed lately?
