“Do it again,” I said, my voice trembling.
“Mrs. Wilson, that won’t change the result, okay? We’ve done three pregnancy tests already,” Dr. Randolph leaned back, “You are one month along, Mrs. Wilson,”
My whole body was trembling. I was one month pregnant? But that didn’t make any sense. How could I have not known I was pregnant the entire time? I mean, it is my body, right? I should have felt something.
