He was frustrated as hell, and he didn’t know what to do with it. Despite Briar saying she was on the mend, his mother still had reservations. Her blood pressure had spiked a couple of times and she’d passed out twice in the last week. She was also moody as hell and he knew, only because he’d stood outside the apartment door eavesdropping the weekend before, she still was holding onto guilt. He wanted to take her away, reassure her he harbored no anger or resentment and he wanted only to move forward in their life.
