Hadlee poked her head in, “hi mom. Can I come in?” She patted the bed beside her and then saw her sandwich still there. She happily lifted it up and took a bite. She’d had a decent breakfast earlier but had thrown up not ten minutes after eating. “Dad said we should be looking at houses. He said when you’re done mixing music for dance class, he wants us to look at more places.” She nodded and sighed.
