She felt like hell. At some point she had fallen asleep next to Liev but waking up she felt like she hadn’t sleep in years. Jet lag and the events of the last week had caught up to her and she felt awful. She rolled out of the bed and noted the side where Liev had been, was now cold to the touch and he was long gone. She had left her phone in Hadlee’s room, and she was unsure of the time. The light filtering through her window told her it was morning at least. She exited her bedroom towards the bathroom listening for the sounds of Hadlee or Liev and heard nothing. Hadlee’s bedroom door was still closed. She took a quick shower and wrapped in her robe and made her way back to her bedroom to get dressed, pausing at Hadlee’s door to listen for her. She must be well and truly exhausted after
