My heart drops at the mention of me staying behind. It's my skulk, not his; if anything, I have more of a right to be there than Oliver does. "That's not at all fair!" I howl as I plop back down aggressively on the bed with my arms crossed. "It is fair, Topaz. You could have died," Oliver whispers, avoiding my gaze.
