My body feels a little heavy when I woke up. I gently opened my eyes and turned to the side where Lantis was sleeping only to see an empty space. I looked around and noticed that the sun is already at its peak. I immediately got up and stormed out of the room.
"Good morning, Tyron," Oceana greeted with her head bowed down. I waited for her to look at me but she kept her head down.
"Where's Lantis?" I asked and didn't bother to greet her back. My heart is pounding and aching. I can feel the pain breaking my heart into pieces. I didn't expect this—never in my wildest dream did I ever think he would do this to me.
I clutched my hands. I already have an idea; an answer to my question but I still want to hear it from her, slightly hoping I am not right. "Tell me, Oceana."
