Yelina's Point of View
It's been days since I brought Aris into the fortress and I was initially hoping I would see some improvements in how they treat her, but I didn't. They still act cold toward her. Their eyes remain the same—looking at her with pure hatred. During meals, no one would sit beside her so I had to make her sit with me. That was the only thing I could think of to make her feel included.
I may have not seen them change, but Aris did. She somehow became lively and now talks to me often. It really made me happy when she initiated a conversation with me. It helped me clear my mind; convinced me more that I did the right choice to take her in. And that was made possible because Milly was there to help me.
