I braced myself and started to prepare to intercept his attacks. I haven't seen Lantis fight with any weapons before so this will be the first and I am not even sure how strong he might be considering how he wouldn't budge every time I try to push him away with all my might. I gripped my spear as tight as possible while keeping my eyes on him.
"Here I come, Tyron," he said before he suddenly vanished from where he stood a second ago and popped right in front of me.
I was so surprised that I forgot to raise my guards. It took my body a few seconds to react but it was too late. He has already swung his spear toward me. I was able to block it but not fully. I wasn't able to apply enough force to cancel the momentum. I groaned as I tried to withstand the attack but it was just too strong.
