Present Day Celia curled her knees to her chest, staring blankly out the front windows at the trees swaying gently in the breeze. She sat on the couch where Lucas had placed her before walking the alpha and Landon out. She could still feel the echo of his arms wrapped around her, his warmth grounding her when everything else felt like it was slipping away. She had no idea how to process what she’d just learned.
