I rubbed my temples, I felt like a junior doctor all over again. The triplets were on the mend, but it had been a while since I’d pulled and all-nighter. I was getting old! My dragon spirit was restless, maybe because I’d used her to help the triplets. These days I hardly felt her as I didn’t need to use her to heal like I did in human hospitals.
It was easier to work here at the pack even if it was busy. Wolves healed so quickly. The wolf on my couch would be back to normal by this afternoon. I probed the previously boggy wound at the back of his skull. He had come off worst during the sparring. The luna was taking no prisoners today. I checked his pupils and they reacted nicely to my light. Satisfied that he was progressing I snapped off my gloves, he’d be awake shortly.
