Irina The bar is quiet, the warmth in here encircles me like a caress. I run my fingers along the rough surface of the bar top seeking the divots in the smooth wood. A song plays in the background and a memory drifts in only to sweep away again. The fabric of my dress feels soft against my heated skin. I’m waiting. My phone on the bar displays a message, ‘10 min, wait for me.’. The singer is crooning about needing loving. Low murmuring voices sound and chairs scrape the floor behind me. The drink in my glass burns its way down my throat, heat searing through me. I feel him enter the bar and his presence is at my back. I suck in a breath as his hands trail down my arms.
