Irina The sunshine blinded me as I moved ahead of the group that flocked outside. The air smelled of Amos’s rose bushes. I looked around for a good spot. I couldn’t wait to trash some of Amos’s delicate shrubs. I’d waited years for this day. This piece of s**t destroyed my friend and now I would teach him a lesson. If he’d been at the pack house the night I rescued her, I’d have killed him, then sunk his body to the bottom of the lake at his pack. Elek darted out and began limbering up his arms and legs like some kind of prize fighter. His nostrils flared as he muttered things in Hungarian. I wasn’t fluent but I got the gist of the names he called me. “I am scared of no one! I, Alpha Elek, accept your challenge, Luna Irina. To the death!” “What the f**k?” Quinn said, his eyes wide.
