“Mejai listen, there will be a lot of cameras tonight, not just outside but inside too. You guys are going to be the gossip on everyone’s lips. Show me your smile,” Alec said as he tucked a clip into my hair.
A looked at him blankly for a minute then sighed. He was taking this media officer role seriously. I bared my teeth in a fake smile.
Alec winced. “We’d be better off with your RKF than that car-crash.”

“Resting Killer Face. That smile.” He used air quotes. “Is more Resting-Gut-You-Slowly-Face.”
